After a long drive, it was a relief that the hotel was easy enough to find from the highway. There’s free private parking, and the location works well: the Danube is nearby, and the old town is across the bridge. We walked to the main square in under 20 minutes. Our room was spacious enough and tidy, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was fine.

We had a nice stay and thought the hotel was good value. The staff were friendly, and the private parking is free. Breakfast was OK, though after reading so many positive reviews about it, we expected more. The room carpets could use some care, and the AC was kind of loud. When we first turned on the tap, the water was hot for a few minutes, so we had to wait for it to cool to a usable temperature. Not sure if that was a temporary issue.

The rooms are clean and straightforward, which worked well for a business trip, and breakfast was good. It’s a small, pleasant hotel near central Bratislava. The staff were friendly and sweet 🙂. Sound carries between rooms, though, so you can hear other guests doing things.

The location and private parking were definite advantages, especially with parking prices in Bratislava. Still, the place was shabby, with dirty floors and rooms that need renovating. After reading all those positive reviews, we expected better, and the stay wasn’t a great experience.

Breakfast in the lovely dining room was really nice, and the mattress was good. The room itself was beautifully decorated, very clean, and well equipped. Getting to the front door was a bit of a hassle, though: we had to carry two suitcases up steep stairs and across a ramp.
