The hotel is well equipped, with an outdoor pool, saunas, loungers, and a ski room. Staff were generally friendly and welcoming. Still, as someone with allergies, I was uneasy about the buffet allergen labels, which didn’t seem reliable and sometimes felt mixed up. For example, the breakfast buffet listed eggs and milk as ingredients in the ‘Virgin Mary’. Correct food labeling matters a lot to me. We chose the hotel on Booking.com because its description mentioned ‘vegan options’, but what was available was very limited. Breakfast at least had hummus, guacamole, vegetables, bread, and muesli. Dinner was mostly salad, bread, and hash browns, with the other dishes containing animal products. A buffet sign said, ‘We are vegan – ask about allergens’, so we asked staff. We were passed between employees, nobody seemed to know, and eventually we were told the buffet was all that was available. They suggested trying ‘Snowbeer’ restaurant next time. It was disappointing not to have one hot vegan dish when vegan food was advertised. We went to Snowbeer, but its menu also had no vegan dishes. When we asked, we could order a pizza without cheese, which was at least an option. Communication with staff could be difficult, and they didn’t always understand what ‘vegan’ meant. Getting answers before arrival was also a problem. The contact details seemed outdated or incorrect, the phone went unanswered, and our emails got no reply, so we couldn’t get our questions answered before the trip.

The interior was magnificent and the skiing conditions were great, with full service throughout. The wellness area was out of this world. Thanks especially to Lukas, our guest concierge and waiter at Snowbeer restaurant, who went beyond expectations with every request.

It looks like a nice, cool hotel, but the spa rules made for an embarrassing experience. The policy says guests must be at least 15 and that swimsuits aren’t allowed, yet I saw children aged 5-7 inside, and the manager let them in. The rules weren’t being followed. Was I supposed to walk around naked in front of children? It was really frustrating.

The rooftop pool has especially lovely views, and Jasná is a perfect setting for this stunning hotel. The apartments were very comfortable and clean, the service was great, and the food was tasty. It’s a relaxing place, and we’ll definitely return.
