It's right in the center of HC, and the woman at reception is very nice. The rooms are practical and the bed linen is clean, though there are cleanliness issues, like dust and floors that haven't been washed well. The WiFi doesn't work, and the blinds on the roof windows are broken or missing altogether. It's suitable for less demanding guests. Still, it's not a complete disaster, and as I said, it could be possible...

The lady at reception was very pleasant and worked hard. Apart from that, I can't see why this hostel deserves any positive reviews. To be clear, it's a hostel, not a guesthouse. After weeks of problems with the water supply, they still hadn't found a solution. It's a miserable place, and the owners seem to care only about squeezing every last penny out of people. No wonder they're Jewish.

This feels more like a workers' hostel than a guesthouse. The reception is closed from 1-4 pm, when guests are arriving. The rooms seem to get only the most basic cleaning. There were cobwebs by the wastebaskets, mold along the shower, and a broken bedside table. A generator hummed the whole time, probably because of cooling equipment at the convenience store below the guesthouse.

It's a pretty cool motel, and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. It works for a short overnight stay or for workers needing a place to stay. But there's noise in front of the guesthouse from a party that goes on nonstop, and the cleaning seems to depend on how much sleep the cleaners get. The water also keeps being a problem and no longer works.
