City Penzion

The staff were a real highlight, friendly, helpful, and speaking English and other languages. The price list and menu are bilingual, too. They even brought coffee or tea to my room when I asked at reception, and let us stay a few hours past checkout for free since we had nowhere to go before our flight from Kosice Airport. Thank you for looking after us. I wholeheartedly recommend the place. The breakfast was generous, and the rooms were clean, well furnished, and spacious enough, even though the property itself is small. City Penzion is on a quiet street, so it's good if you want a lie-in or an early night. It also turned out to be closer to the city center than the Google Maps walking distances suggested. A cab ride from the airport takes about 10 minutes. DO NOT take the airport cab, call a Bolt. I liked the flexibility of having one key that opened every door we needed, so we could come and go freely. It had the flexibility of a large hotel in a boutique B&B.

I was in Slovakia for some very major, painful surgery, and the staff were a huge help. I'm extremely grateful. The hotel was VERY clean and made my stay pleasant. I recommend it.

The room was clean and breakfast was good, and the price was okay. But we were hoping for somewhere quiet, and it wasn't. There was a lot of noise from staff and guests outside our room, and I was woken at both 6am and 2am. The area also felt a bit scary at night.

A small, comfortable hotel in Koshice, with a nice breakfast included in the price. It's not very convenient for getting around on foot, but it works well for a stay of 1-2 days.
