The owners were easy to deal with, and the service really impressed me. The guesthouse was clean and peaceful, which mattered because I was worried about hotel noise from traffic, other guests, and cleaners when I moved to Kosice. Breakfast was served by a lovely older lady, and it felt like being at home, eating something my mother had made. I’d definitely recommend trying this place for its homelike feel. I’d suggest they add dinner as well.

Set in a residential neighborhood at the edge of the city, this traditional guest house is very appealing. There isn’t much public transport nearby. I was impressed by how carefully everything in the room had been looked after, more than I’m used to in other budget places.

We stayed two nights and left very pleased. The mansion is in a calm, green part of Kosice, right beside the ancient Rozália cemetery, which is worth visiting. It was so peaceful, with no traffic or people around, just birds and the smell of nature.

On 25.02.2020 there were no rooms available, though parking was free. I think there was only one car there. Maybe they don’t rent out all the rooms in winter.
