Hotel Dastan

We arrived very late after travel delays, and the staff were understanding and got us into our room quickly. The ownership and staff were accommodating and hands-on, and the public areas were very clean. The room had neat, modern furniture, though the worn carpets could use an upgrade to match it. The duvet was too small for comfort, and there was only one very soft pillow. The curtains were completely see-through, so sleeping in was impossible, especially with jet lag. About an hour after we arrived, the room lost power, and it couldn’t be fixed until the next day. Luckily, the AC worked perfectly in the heat, and our devices had enough charge to keep us connected. Breakfast was a highlight: a full hot meal each morning with a decent range of eggs, meats, cheeses, juices, breads, salads, fruits, and condiments. I’d get there early for the freshest options. The hotel has an amazing wellness center, but we couldn’t use it because it’s only open from September to April. Rates are very reasonable, and it seems equipped for different groups and events. There were drawbacks, but the excellent AC and accommodating staff made the stay worthwhile.
