The wooden chalet fits beautifully among the surrounding mountains. We stayed three nights, and the room was neat, the food was amazing, and everyone was kind. The receptionists especially stood out. I spoke English with one and Hungarian, our native language, with the other, and both were exceptionally kind whenever we needed them. We also enjoyed the wellness area, going twice during our three days. It had a sauna, a relaxation room, and a jacuzzi, just what we needed to unwind after hiking.

The setting is quiet and peaceful, with wild nature close by. The hotel and spa were clean, and the regional food tasted good. The staff were helpful and spoke English. Marek was especially helpful in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Good value for the money, and there are attractions right nearby, with some more just a short drive away. The place combines traditional touches with fairly modern renovations, though don't expect high tech. There are saunas and a cooling area, plus a mainly traditional continental menu with plenty of variety, even if the buffet isn't huge. The owner has got the balance right. I hate seeing food wasted but still like to eat well. Parking and a playground are on site. Can recommend.
