It was quiet, the air was clean, and there’s lovely countryside nearby for walks. We were very happy with our stay. The rooms are laid out nicely and each one has its own bathroom. The shared kitchen was spacious enough for all of us.

The valley between the Low and West Tatras has gorgeous views, and the village has no main road running through it, so there isn’t much traffic. We stayed in early May, when it was cold, and couldn’t make use of the cozy outdoor seating, though I imagine summer evenings there would be lovely. Inside, our room was clean and comfortable, and we weren’t cold, which hasn’t always been the case on our trips. The kitchenette was very well equipped, and I appreciated that they sort waste from plastic to organic. You don’t often see that in a small village. We visited in May this year and were very satisfied. The owner was friendly, suggested some trekking routes, and warned us that a few were difficult. Chopok, for example, would have been a challenge. Parking is in the yard, with space for three cars if parked close together. There are three rooms in the accommodation.

The location is a nice base for trips, and it’s peaceful if you want to get away from crowds. Our hosts were friendly and live next door. Each room having its own bathroom is a real plus, as are the garden gazebo and other outdoor seating. It was pleasant and clean. The kitchenette is small if several separate groups are staying, which is a slight downside, but you can make it work.

Everything was great, and the equipment had everything we needed. I hadn’t even realized the cottage had an owner! The gentleman who owns it was absolutely top notch. I think we’ll meet again, and if I could, I’d give him 100 stars. Thanks! The photos are older, though, and I think updating them would give future guests a nicer impression.
