Chaty Rybárska Osada

It was ok.

We stayed four nights over New Year’s and had a great time. The cottage was a good fit for eight people, and I’d happily have stayed another week if work hadn’t called me back. It’s close to Liptovská Mary, and snow fell while we were there, which the kids and adults both loved. There was plenty for everyday use in the kitchen, including pots, plates, cups and utensils. It also has a grill, a kettle with a basin, Wi-Fi and a fireplace, plus a playground in the area. We did notice a couple of drawbacks: the shower stalls are small, which was awkward for me at almost two metres tall, and the wooden cottage creaks quite a bit when someone walks around upstairs or uses the stairs. Light sleepers may want to keep that in mind. We were missing a large spoon, so we bought one ourselves. Still, for me it was close to perfect apart from the shower, so I’m giving it five out of five. I’d definitely recommend it.

Cozy cottages and a playground, and the view is WOW.

The view from the cottage is beautiful, and the boat ramp is only a short walk away. The cottages are clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, and the wooden design has a lot of charm. You can hear people walking upstairs if you're downstairs, though. I highly recommend it.
