We booked two nights but left after one. We paid €10 a day for our dog, who was allowed at the campsite but barred from everywhere else, including the campsite's own beach. That feels like a rip-off. There aren't proper walking or hiking trails nearby, either. The staff are often unfriendly, and €49 per day online felt expensive for Slovakia. The pub food was poor and overpriced. There's entertainment for families with children, but anyone after peace and quiet should look elsewhere. It feels more like show than substance. The toilets and showers worked, but were old and worn. The site had no clear organization, so people parked wherever they liked. Even arriving early, we ended up completely blocked in by other cars. We wouldn't return.

An unexpected medical situation meant we had to cancel, even though we'd booked a non-refundable stay. The owner was understanding and compassionate, and cancelled promptly without charging us. We couldn't make the trip, but their kindness and professionalism showed us they care about guests' well-being. We really appreciated the support and recommend this property to anyone looking for a caring, responsive host.

The bathrooms were the main letdown. They weren't cleaned often or thoroughly, and it took away from the stay. The facilities in general are simple and dated, though that alone wouldn't necessarily be a deal-breaker. The best part is the lakeside setting, with direct water access for swimming and sunset views. There's also a restaurant and bar on site, which is handy, though the food is quite average. If you're happy to rough it a little for the views, it may suit you. If hygiene matters a lot to you, you may be disappointed.

One of my best camping stays so far. The staff were super friendly and the facilities were great. The lake is just a two-minute walk away, and a small hill with amazing views takes about ten minutes to reach. Definitely recommended.
