The owner and rental process were as hassle-free as they could be, and there’s plenty of parking. The accommodation is very cozy and quiet, with easy access to the southern ranges of the High Tatras, basically all the places you can reach starting from Štrbské Pleso, where you can also do your shopping. Štôla has exactly one pub open late and full of locals, plus one nearby hotel where you can get dinner. That’s all you need. Recommended.

Viktoria was very nice and helped us whenever we had questions or problems. The place was clean, but what we got didn’t look like the pictures on Booking. The bathroom wasn’t fit to use. You couldn’t do anything at the sink, and getting out of the shower was very difficult and dangerous. The kitchen in the room and the one outside were hard to use. I won’t comment on the decorations, but the kids were afraid.

It’s a quiet place with a friendly atmosphere, and the Tatra hiking spots are only a short drive away. There’s a bus stop 50m from the accommodation. The house has artistic wood carvings, and breakfast is available at the neighboring hotel.

The houses are cozy, the grounds are beautiful, and the location is really convenient: 3 km from the ski lift, 6 km from the lake, and just as close to the Tatranska Lomnica ski resort. The kitchen has everything needed for a stay, including a washing machine, and everything was very clean. In the evening, you can light the fireplace and enjoy the quiet. The owner is very nice and polite. Everything is new, the bed is comfortable, and the renovation looks nice. It’s really great here, and if I could give a higher rating, I would. We’ll definitely come back when we go skiing.
