Penzión pod brezami**

This was my second visit, and I still find the penzion clean, modern, and comfortable. There are only around 6 rooms, parking inside the building, and AC in the rooms. They serve breakfast only, and it’s good, though there’s no fruit. The price is fair. It’s a lovely place to relax in a village near Nitra, with some shops nearby and a pizzeria that has amazing pizzas and good beer. On this visit there was a problem with the bathroom water tap. It was meant to be a newer style, but honestly it was very awkward to use. The place works well for couples, families, and older people.

The rooms are lovely and new, and the penzion is very clean. The staff are lovely too, and breakfast was delicious.

The location is the main thing to keep in mind, since there isn’t much nearby, though Nitra is only a short drive away. Bratislava takes about an hour and a quarter via the route off the highway. We stayed for 2 nights and found the guesthouse modern, with a great price-quality ratio. Before arriving, we were a bit unsure what to expect because it’s in a lower price category, yet even more basic guesthouses cost more. That concern went away when we got there. We were due to check in at 2 pm, but the receptionist kindly let us in at 12 pm. We met 2 young women on staff over 3 days, and both were pleasant and nice. There’s a private parking lot that closes overnight, though you can open the gate manually. We chose the LUX 2 option. The room seemed small, but was more than enough for sleeping, and it was modern, with a shower and a large balcony. Breakfast was okay for the price. The selection is modest, but there’s still a choice. I’d recommend this guesthouse.
