The rooms were great, and the receptionists were lovely. I also really enjoyed having the ice rink, fitness facilities, wellness area, and gym. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I hope work takes me back to that area so I can stay here again.

Having a hockey rink here is a real plus. They can rent you skates too if you don’t have your own.

The setting was my favorite part, with the forest and morning fog making it lovely for walks. You should also make time to see Oravas dam while you’re here. We came for team-building and liked the hotel and our room. The food was good, though I’ve had better, and I can’t comment on the prices since everything was already paid for. The room in the main building had a bathtub, while mine only had a shower. 🙂

The outdoor pools were nice, including for kids, and I’d recommend staying here. The staff were pleasant and the hotel felt good quality. During our visit it was around 32-33 degrees outside all week, and the rooms and restaurant were quite warm too. The restaurant felt a bit small for a hotel of this size. It’s a shame there’s no path to Oravská dam, so you have to walk about 200 m along a busy road.

I’ve stayed here a few times myself and mainly had issues with the service. My business partner from Austria stayed two nights and complained about the rooms, service, and noise. There were parties both nights, with drunk guests roaming the hallways and knocking on doors, and the staff didn’t try to stop it. He asked me not to book this hotel for him again. I felt ashamed of my choice and hope it doesn’t harm our business relationship. I won’t book rooms here for my partners, customers, or suppliers anymore.
