The bathroom and built-in hallway furniture looked new, at least in room 106, after some partial renovation. The rest of the room still feels pretty dated, but it was fine for one night. It took me back to my student days, except we didn’t have Wi-Fi then and this place does. There’s no picture of the president from back then, G.H. I’d recommend it to anyone who isn’t too demanding.

Some rooms are a bit better than others, but the accommodation is decent overall. The hostel manager is very polite and helpful, even going beyond her duties to meet guests’ needs. Everyone was great, from the men at the door through to the management.

It feels just like the university dorms in Mlynská dolina, down in the atriums, with the same metal windows and balcony doors leading to a shared terrace. There’s no window fan, and you can hear nearby people having fun as if you were right there with them. It took me back 36 years. At least it was clean, so three stars.

Everything was clean and furnished well enough, and the accommodation itself was fine. The food and refreshments were tasty. The location is convenient, with Modra closest, though even there it isn’t very lively.
