Penzión Sibír

I spent a week here as part of a large Australian group and had a great stay. My room was big, with a balcony and a lovely view. Breakfast changed each day and was really good. We could gather for a little happy hour in the sunny common room before heading out, and there was a small kitchen for cooking plus a fridge on every floor for storing food. Some of us also had laundry done for a small fee. Palco knew the hiking routes really well and gave me excellent advice. He and his mother looked after us so well. I'd definitely stay again. Host Palco was kind and generous, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The large room was lovely, and breakfast was nice, with mama's homemade cakes among the treats. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Palko was kind, gentle, and considerate, and made a real effort to accommodate my gluten-free and lactose-free diet as well as our earlier hiking starts. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade sweets. We had a great experience here.

This was our second time booking here, and I'm sure we'll return. The owner is very kind, answered our questions promptly before arrival and during our five-day stay, and flexibly changed the booking when our plans shifted by a day. The house is well placed for reaching hiking trails in the High Tatras. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to rest. We ordered breakfast, which was just right and filling enough before a day of hiking. Good value for the money.
