The owner was cheerful and helpful, and the cottages were clean and looked after. Each room has a fridge, air conditioning and a TV. The fenced grounds are kept tidy, with buffets close by and a shop nearby. Pool access is limited to once a day. Most of the other recreational facilities in the area are in poor shape or not maintained.

The cabins sit in a lovely fenced area, and it’s a great setting for families with children. Ours was clean, air-conditioned and had everything we needed. The owner did his best to sort out the confusing pool rules, though they kept changing: some days you had to pay to re-enter, other days you didn’t, and the side entrance was sometimes allowed and sometimes not. Paying for pointless re-entry and dealing with these pool problems took away from an otherwise good stay. The owner wasn’t responsible for it and really tried to help.

This was our second visit, and the pool services were the worst this year. Other people we spoke with felt the same, and we won’t return. Even during Covid there were more holidaymakers, yet the service was decent. For that sort of money, a dozen warm beers at 3.5 ecek just isn’t good enough. If you’re going to spend money, go somewhere else. What the managers call wellness shows how incompetent they are.

The path along the Danube is great for cycling or in-line skating, and the pools are fun for swimming. The cottages are equipped, and children can play in a very safe environment.
