101 Penzion

The walls were the worst part for me. I could hear my neighbours as if they were in my room, and at 3 am it was really bothersome. Being right in the center also means you may hear people outside in the evening. My single room was surprisingly spacious, with a private bathroom big enough for a bathtub, plus a TV, desk, fridge, single bed, large closet, and chair. It was clean, though the furniture and shower showed signs of use. Towels and shower gel were on the bed, with hand soap in the bathroom. There were lots of TV channels, and MTV 80's was my favorite. The desk had brochures about tourist spots in slovak. The location is right by the city square, with parking at the lot on the other side, on street Jarkova. Reception is only available at check-in, with no service afterward. I skipped breakfast and walked five minutes to shopping center Novum. The owner was very nice and even carried my suitcase. Whenever we met, he asked if everything was okay or if I needed anything.
