Chata Smiech

We came back as a family to bring back memories from when we used to stay here as kids. It's a pleasant cottage that works well for a bigger group, around 15 people at most.

The cottage is older, which gives it extra charm, and we slept really well on the new bed and mattress. Its facilities were excellent, and we were extremely happy with our stay. When we arrived, the manager had the place warm and the fireplace going. He showed us around and suggested things to see and do nearby. I preferred its original name, "Chata Stará píla". 👍👍👍👍👍

It's a good spot for a get-together with friends or family. The cottage stands apart from other houses, so you can enjoy yourselves without disturbing anyone, and nobody will bother you. There's a bodega restaurant nearby, and the common room is fairly spacious, with lots of bedrooms. The furnishings are basic and showing their age, and the place could use some renovation, so don't expect fancy equipment. Bring firewood if you want to use the fire or fireplace, and take your own goulash kettle, since the one there is small. Still, I recommend it.

The cottage can fit around 20 people and has a lovely outdoor seating and barbecue area by the stream behind it, which is a real plus. Inside, it's renovated and clean. A beautiful place in peaceful, pleasant surroundings.
