The staff were friendly and the service was okay, but the place feels stuck in 1970, and breakfast was awful with very little to choose from. The coffee? Well, it was black. It's a terrible place set in beautiful surroundings. Go if you want to feel like you've traveled back in time.

There’s a good trail running route around the grounds, and the setting is great. I also liked the functional architecture. Amazing place.

The natural surroundings are beautiful, but the place needs an investment.

The treatments felt like real spa care, with professional staff focused on helping you relax and recover. The whole stay at Sliač was warm and calming, and the quality food added to it. It has an old-fashioned character, full of tradition and a sense of peace, rather than shiny modern finishes. Walking its familiar corridors and feeling the local springs made it feel like stepping back in time. The Restart spa package was just right for switching off from your phone and your thoughts. If you need to reset and warm your soul, Sliač won't disappoint. A must-see, highly recommended.
