We’ve stayed at Altwaldorf many times and would gladly come back again. It’s well placed for trips to the Tatra Mountains, Slovak Paradise, and the wider Spiš area, with shops and restaurants nearby and a quiet neighborhood around it. The rooms have what you need, and the bathroom was clean and functional. Mr. Jaroslav is accommodating and helpful, making sure guests have everything they need.

The host is attentive, and breakfast can be ordered there. There’s a private bathroom with hot water, towels, a kettle, and a comfortable bed, plus a guest refrigerator in the hallway. Zimny Potok stream is only a few steps away, with a shop nearby and a restaurant even closer. It’s a three-kilometer walk to Tatranská Lomnica, which has lots to do, and from there the electric train goes to other lovely places.

The host was kind and helpful, but the cleaning wasn’t done properly, and flies kept appearing in the heat. There are a lot of stairs up and down to the apartment, so I wouldn’t recommend a long stay with small children.

Nice owner, lovely surroundings, and a beautiful view. It was clean and inexpensive, with parking and wifi. Too bad dogs can’t stay there.

The host was so pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent, too. Everything is close by. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it.
