The staff were lovely, especially the Philipino ladies and Kier from the bar. You can tell hospitality comes naturally to them. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms, though, are small and very basic. There’s no coffee machine or even a kettle, which I think a 5-star hotel should have.

The spa was clean and well equipped, and there’s a playroom for kids with accessories for the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel and facilities felt elegant. The room was beautiful, breakfast amazing, and the food and drinks were top level in the village. We had a perfect stay. Be sure to have dinner there once and enjoy a drink in the lounge.

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The cozy rooms give this vintage hotel a lot of charm. I only wish there were a kettle in the room. Definitely recommend it.

The wellness area was quiet and clean during our stay, though that may have been because we visited outside peak season. Our room was in the newer section, small but practical, and the restaurant staff were lovely at breakfast. Petra at reception welcomed us warmly and was happy to answer our questions. We even got a complimentary drink. We had a nice stay.

We loved our three nights at Lomnica. The spa was spotless, and spending time in the hot jacuzzi with cocktails was a treat. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with bedding and a bed that exceeded expectations. We were sorry the three Michelin star restaurant was closed on weekdays, but dinner at Mozart was a great experience. The food there was delicious, and breakfast was so good too. The hotel's thoughtful details and sophisticated feel really stood out. It absolutely deserves its five star status, and was the best value of our trip.
