Penzión Pod Hradom

Breakfast at the Hotel restaurant was a nice buffet with enough food and drink choices, and the nearby Hotel and Penzion parking lots may be included in the room price. The place is right in the town center, near the iconic castle, though walking there means tackling steep streets that could be hard for older visitors. Finding it by car can be tricky since navigation may send you along streets marked for pedestrians only. The room was clean, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom tap leaked, and the curtains had cigarette-burn holes. Both the Penzion and the adjacent Hotel are reached by stairs, with no elevator, which may put off some older guests. It’s an okay spot for a night or two. I recommend it.

The location is good and the service was good too. It's a very small place, though, and the facilities are old.

We had a lovely view from room number one on the top floor. It’s a great place for a two-day trip, right below the castle, and I’d recommend it to children and history fans.

The location is good, but for what it costs, I wasn’t very impressed with the guesthouse. The rooms have dated furniture and seem suitable just for sleeping. My family and I ate fried food this morning before leaving, and now I have bad diarrhea. Two other family members who ate the fried food have it too.
