Chalupa U Potoka

There's lots of space, a nice garden where you can grill, and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is next to the main road, but it wasn't noisy at all, and there's a shop right beside it. A perfect place to stay, highly recommended.

We had a great weekend in a pleasant setting. The cottage was spacious, with plenty of beds and a separate room for each of our three families with children. It was clean, although some duvets could do with a wash. The kitchen was equipped well enough to cook like at home. With small children, the fairly steep stairs up to some first-floor rooms are a drawback. The cottage's old, thick walls kept the main road noise out completely, which we appreciated.

The surroundings are beautiful, and there's a shop and a transport stop nearby. The cottage has several rooms, is well equipped, and you can barbecue in the yard. Some rooms face the main road, where traffic runs nonstop. The yard fits up to three vehicles. The turnoff from the main road is 10 meters past the traffic sign, and the house is hidden behind thujas. I recommend staying here.

The area is simply beautiful, with mountains, streams, flower-filled meadows, and sometimes even an animal in sight. It's perfect for hiking. There are good services nearby, including in Donovaly and Staré hory.
