Getting out to the mountains in the morning was easy from here, and we could avoid the traffic leaving Poprad. We stayed as a couple for two nights, from 12th of June to 15th of June, 2025, and found the stay excellent overall. There’s an infrared sauna at 60°C, though it fits two people at most. The pool was too cold for us to use. The room walls were thin enough that we could hear everything in the next room, IYKWMI. Nearby shopping was limited too: Coop and a small kiosk were rundown and didn’t have much fresh food.

The location made it easy to get to local attractions, and the views were stunning. My room was spacious and spotless, with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly from the moment I arrived. I recently stayed at The Grandview Hotel and had a great experience. I’d happily return on my next trip and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

After the long journey from Canada, it meant a lot that our host welcomed us at the front door in the middle of the night. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we could see the mountains from our window. My girlfriend and I feel lucky to have stayed here while visiting Slovakia. We’re already planning another trip to High Tatras Mountains and will definitely stay at Ubytovanie u Babky again. See you soon, and thank you.

The garden view was amazing, and there’s a big garden where you can have a barbecue. The sauna was more than fine too. The accommodation was very clean, with large rooms and everything you need in the upstairs kitchen. It’s close to Tatra Mountains. I was very, very pleased and will definitely come back. 😁😁😁
