From the outside, the cottage looks lovely and cozy, and the location is beautiful. Inside, though, things feel heavily worn. It seems there hasn’t been enough time or room to renovate.

We had a great stay and plan to come back in winter. The rooms were lovely, the view was beautiful, and the food was excellent. Thank you to the owners. I also want to respond to Mrs. Jankechová’s review before ours. We were at the guesthouse at the same time, with a family like yours, and what you wrote isn’t true. Your dog caused a real “circus” for the whole guesthouse. We told the owners about it, as did other guests. It was awful to hear how you spoke to the owner, with swearing and threats. Mr. the owner has been seriously ill with cancer for several years, so accusing him of being drunk was terrible. Mrs. Jankechová, you need to reflect on your behavior and on writing lies.

We had a lovely view from both the balcony and the dining room, and the location works well if you’re interested in the Strachan ski lift. There’s billiards and table football, and the hostess did her best. Breakfast was good, with a different menu each day, and she gave us a sled for our child. We had to eat dinner elsewhere because too few people signed up for it. There were no cots, so this won’t work for families who need one, though we brought our own. I noticed an unpleasant smell on the ground floor, but upstairs was fine. Photos were taken on my phone.

The moldy room was the worst part. We washed everything once we got home, and I wouldn’t wish that smell on anyone. The heating was poor, with radiators that were air-conditioned, and the bathroom smelled too. The owner wasn’t willing to move us or address the problems. Breakfast was below average. With the cold and mold together, it was a terrible stay. I definitely don’t recommend it!
