The host was really good, and it's a great place to stay in Zlate Moravce.

Quiet, pleasant place.

The beds were comfortable, but the sheets were so heavily starched that they scratched. There was also dust everywhere, even though the room had apparently been cleaned before. We didn't feel very comfortable there. I had booked through Airbnb and paid in advance for two people and one child, breakfast included. At reception, though, they said our room had gone to someone else and offered us a more expensive one. I was shocked and refused to pay almost 50% more. I had to show proof of payment and the portal document stating there'd be no extra charge. In the morning, my husband went looking for breakfast since nobody had told us where it was served. The elderly owner stopped him in the hallway and scolded him, saying we shouldn't be in that room because we hadn't paid for it, and didn't deserve breakfast either. It could still have been an okay stay, but that made the whole experience unpleasant. I travel a lot and understand that things can go wrong, but here it felt like they were trying to see what they could get tourists to pay.

The location in the center is the only plus for me. The beds are small, the room lacks heating and has no air conditioning, and there's no fridge for keeping food. I wouldn't recommend staying here and won't come back. 😡😡
