It’s a peaceful place to unwind, and the apartments are clean, stylish, and cozy. The staff are very helpful, while the hosts are genuinely kind and welcoming. We found it ideal for a winter ski trip and would happily recommend it.

The village setting was both scenic and quiet, right in the centre. The house was spotless, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. They were flexible with our group, and we had a great stay. Thanks to Family Skerda for looking after us. Highly recommended.

We were about five minutes by car from Janovky, where guests get a special price, and around 15 minutes from the larger Spalena slope. We also enjoyed the museum of Orava village, especially its night show, and the thermal springs. Back at the cottage, there’s a shared hall for group gatherings, and the rooms have kitchenettes. There’s plenty of space for skis and boots. Families with kids of any age should find something here, from the hill behind the cottage for little ones to slide on to free Wi-Fi for teenagers.

Stefan was a fantastic host, knew the area inside out, and was always ready to help. We got a friendly welcome, and the rooms in the penzion were cozy and clean. Highly recommended 😁

At the reservation stage, the unprofessional conduct and poor communication led to our stay being rebooked to another client. The explanation was that they were handling 20 emails a day. I hope they improve this and communicate with potential clients more professionally.
