Parking takes some planning because access to San Marino is restricted, but that’s expected. There’s public parking outside the inner area, and the hotel has an arrangement with the municipality for reduced rates. They can pick you and your luggage up if needed. The hotel itself is a great place to stay in the middle of San Marino, with quality rooms, great views and a good location.

Hotel Titano’s restaurant was AMAZING, and the food around town was fabulous too. Staying in Hotel Titano made our time in that classic hilltop medieval town feel magical. We explored castles and kept daydreaming that San Marino was a city in the clouds. È mia citta favorita! If I’m lucky enough to return, I’d like to visit the natural science museum down the hill and experience a thunderstorm. There were lightning rods everywhere. (Archer fans should sing the restaurant praise.)

We stayed in January 2026, and the hospitality and food were more than perfect. Someone broke into our car in Rimoni and stole some money, leaving us with a big problem. The hotel did its best to improvise a solution so we could make the 1,200 km trip home safely with the children. Franceska at reception gets the biggest thanks for organizing everything. Lots of hugs from the Mrvic family.

We were two of the unfortunate room 105 survivors. We booked in spring, before seeing the summer 2025 reviews, and wouldn’t have stayed if we’d seen them. For €150, this felt more like a hostel than a hotel and wasn’t worth the price. The room was run down and dirty, with scuffed walls, stained sheets and a piece missing from the bathroom door. The AC unit looked filthy and was so loud we had to switch it off to sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable too. We’d asked for twin beds, but found them pushed together under one sheet. Check-in with one person was pleasant. When we later raised the room’s condition, a different woman dismissed our disappointment without apologizing or acknowledging it. They only separated the beds and brought another set of sheets. Staff asked about the room again in the morning, and when we said how bad it was, the response was basically a shrug. There’s no soundproofing, so we heard everything from the street and hallways, including crickets, people yelling and dogs barking. When we brought it up, we were told, “A quiet room in old town? Please.” We’ve stayed in many hotels and hostels in different countries and never had this problem, in an old town or anywhere else. The small shower was just as bad, and water spread across the whole bathroom floor. Breakfast was basic, with room for improvement in the selection and food, though the fresh fruit was a nice touch. I’ll never stay at a hotel or eat at a restaurant owned by this company again. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy because I don’t want them to get any rest.

The staff were great, but we were later told they go months without wages. As for room 105, avoid it. It was the worst place we’ve ever stayed, and unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. The room was small and awful, the AC was oversized and sounded like a tractor, and the bed was terrible. Honestly, the floor was better. The shower was beyond words, and there was no normal comfort at all. We paid €300 for two nights. We travel a lot, and I’d suggest staying outside San Marino instead. You only need a few hours in the old city, and staying here means dealing with the inconvenience of a 10-minute walk from parking. Find another hotel and definitely don’t take this room.
