Hotel VDN by Good Rade

The restaurant staff were lovely, and the bed was huge. That was its best feature for me, just the size, not the comfort. Breakfast was sparse and dull. The shower having a toilet in it was the strangest setup. I had a double booking, and it took two weeks for the bank to confirm they hadn't recorded the second payment. Thank goodness my bank was efficient, because the hotel staff weren't useful in sorting it out. They don't speak English very well, which made the whole issue a nightmare. Drinks with alcohol were extremely expensive, though the staff were pleasant.

The restaurant and the included continental breakfast each morning were the only good parts for me. Beyond that, this small hotel felt overpriced. There isn't much privacy when people come and go, and I didn't think it was fair or safe to be asked to leave my room key behind whenever I stepped out. The front desk also made mistakes with my stay and charged me four times for the same amount.

Spacious, large rooms that feel worth the price. The hotel is clean and affordable, with easy connections and a good reception. Breakfast was okay, and the little gym is handy for keeping active while traveling.

The rooms are acceptable and the staff are friendly, but the gym is in poor condition. They also charge a lot for extras, 10k XOF for a lost card. I wouldn't recommend it overall.
