We stopped for lunch at Tama Lodge and ate in a gorgeous spot beneath the palm trees. The food was heavenly, and the service was lovely. They recommended a guide for visiting Mbour, who was very friendly. Tama Lodge is so beautiful that you’d have to be pretty hard to please not to enjoy it.

The restaurant could use some improvement, so I can’t give it five stars. Still, this is a stylish, beautiful and cozy lodge right by the sea, and it’s well managed and looked after. The sandy garden is a relaxing place to sit among the palms and listen to the waves. The beach here isn’t the best on Petit Cote, but the more walkable Sally beach is very close.

A great place to unwind and enjoy life, with wonderful service and a lovely beach view. The Atlantic is only 10 meters away. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned every day, and the staff are attentive and available around the clock. There are lots of great trips you can book directly at the hotel.

We spent a wonderful honeymoon at Tama and hope to return soon. The staff were incredible, attentive and friendly, and they helped us arrange some lovely trips. We enjoyed the beautiful art and scenery, too. The restaurant had a fantastic range of French and Senegalese dishes, all cooked to a very high standard. It’s a little oasis, and I’d recommend Tama Lodge to anyone visiting Senegal.
