King Baobab Lodge

We were here for a wedding, and the whole stay was amazing. The venue and setting are stunning, and the staff were so accommodating. You can unwind in the comfy rooms, by the pool, or over the footbridge at what feels like a private beach. Thank you, team Baobab!! I'd highly recommend it.

The rooms and staff are great, and there's a lovely beach reached by a wooden walkway over shallow water. The only thing I could think to improve was adding a knob to the toilet roll holder so it wouldn't slip off. That's how faultless the place felt. If I can, I'll come back and stay for the whole week.

The rooms are spacious, with strong AC and lovely balconies, and it's only about a 3-minute walk to the beach along a wooden path. The pool area is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. There are fun things to do too, including paddling and games for children, so it works well for families. King Baobab Hotel is a beautiful place with a rich culture that really captures the heart of Senegal. The food was delicious, mixing local flavors with well-prepared meals, and every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. Great people and a relaxing feel, with a real connection to the culture. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Senegal, and I'll definitely be back!

King Baobab is set in a village beside a lake and beach, and it has a traditional feel that gives guests a connection to Senegalese culture. The hotel is peaceful at certain times of year, which makes it a great choice for a quiet trip. The food is delicious too.
