The room was dirty, the toilet was broken, and even the fan was covered in dirt. They didn't clean our room, even after we asked. Breakfast was just an egg, a little bread and a small juice, without even a slice of cheese. There's no coffee machine, only instant coffee. You need a car because the place is in the middle of nowhere. The owner hasn't invested in the property, and I can't understand where the good reviews come from. This feels like a big scam!

The rooms are nice, and the staff are awesome. The place is peaceful and has a pool, though it's a bit far from the lake. It's a good spot if you're visiting the lake or just want to relax in Lac Rose. I wish the menu had more choices, but you can order from a local restaurant and have the food delivered to the hotel. Bring your own sheets or cologne for the sheets and pillows, since they may have smells you don't like.

The rooms open directly onto the pool and are tidy, clean, and equipped with air conditioning, a fan, a TV, plenty of outlets, and a small bathroom. They were a little small, so three people would feel cramped, but one or two would be comfortable. The hotel is well placed: Lac Rose is an easy walk, the sea isn't too far, and there are good connections. They can arrange a transfer from Blaise-Diagne Airport and have contacts for local quad bike rentals. Since the hotel is small, the friendly, approachable staff are easy to reach and helpful. When our rental car got a flat tire on the last day, they actively helped us find a garage.

Modou was kind and always available, and Christophe, the owner, made us feel well looked after. The welcome was warm and sincere. It's a clean, peaceful place in a good location.
