The afternoon African drum show was a real highlight, lively and full of rhythm, with a special cultural feel. I also enjoyed the hotel’s beautiful pool and relaxing atmosphere after a day out exploring. The common areas are well kept, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

La Mimosa is welcoming and well maintained, in a strategic location. The friendly staff are always ready to help. It’s a pleasant stay for the price, with a great balance between quality and affordability in Senegal. Highly recommended.

The restaurant, bar, and pool make a lovely little oasis. It’s a beautiful boutique property in the centre of Touba, about 30 minutes from the airport. It can be hard to find, so skip Google Maps’ most direct route. Locals can easily point you there.

The owner speaks Italian, and both the owner and staff are kind. The property is lovely, with a swimming pool and spacious rooms. There’s a restaurant on site, too. We had a good dinner, with generous portions and delicious food. Definitely worth recommending if you’re passing through.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I stepped on cut wires near the pool while reaching for a chair and got electrocuted. After dinner I had diarrhea. I’d spent three weeks in Africa without stomach trouble until then. The dormitory was also full of mosquitoes.
