Greenheart Boutique Hotel

The manager went well beyond what I expected when I needed extra help, and I’m really grateful. That kind of service was exactly what other reviews had led me to hope for. It’s a charming little boutique hotel in a central spot, with friendly hosts, a peaceful pool area, and a tasty breakfast included. The WiFi is decent, there’s a cute library, and bird watching was delightful even right in town. There are a few quirks that might not suit travelers looking for fancy amenities, like the lack of an elevator and the open shower inside a closed bathroom. For me, they’re part of the place’s charm. I’d gladly recommend staying here.

The rooms each have their own character, and I liked having shared space where guests could mingle. When my group arrived, the staff gave us warm, attentive service and even offered ice pops on a hot day. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with.

That spa and the two women who work there were just wonderful. I still can’t figure out how they manage not to wrinkle. Seeing my laundry drying next door, just over the fence, was oddly reassuring. The front desk area is cozy, though about six of us were trying to fit onto two chairs. It was a good way to get to know people, wink wink. Then there’s the shower right beside the toilet, so you can shower and poop at the same time. Very time efficient, especially for business travelers with the runs.

Honestly, this place is more than beautiful. The hotel and especially the pool look stunning in my pictures. I had a great breakfast and spent two lovely days here. Highly recommended.
