We had a lovely three-night stay. We were travelling on a budget, but Kenito, the owner, was very helpful and arranged successful trips to the south of the island and the equator. He's sharp and speaks excellent English. Our room was large and bright, and breakfast was a pleasure, especially the omelettes, which were seasoned brilliantly. Accommodation standards in Sao Tome aren't generally very high, but this place is an exception and the price was fair. We also loved the amazing chocolate shop Diogo Vaz, just a five-minute walk away.

The kitchenette apartment has a great view of the airport, and the location is very good. The rooms are clean and well kept. Worth staying here while in Sao Tome.

The biggest issue was that the electricity, and therefore the internet, would be off at the times I needed it most, after waking up when I wanted to plan things and contact people. The owner or manager was rude, and there was hardly any water pressure in the shower.

The pool is over two metres deep, so it isn't child-friendly and I had to keep my children from using it. The hotel itself is very small, with rooms close together, and noise from people by the pool late at night echoes throughout the place.

It's a very modern building by Sao Tome standards, and they have serviced apartments too. The hotel is a little outside Sao Tome town but easy to reach on foot in 10-20 minutes. I highly recommend it.
