Worst experience I've had. I'd booked and paid for two weeks through the app, but the front desk guy treated me terribly, like I was asking to stay for free. His attitude changed once he realized I'd paid in full, but I canceled the two-week stay anyway. Their loss. I never got an apology, by the way.

The manager, Julio, made our stay special with such great service. My friends and I felt right at home, and the clean, comfortable rooms helped. We loved the food and cocktails, especially the fried shrimp with vegetables. It's easy to explore town from this central location, and we'll recommend it to family and friends. Can't wait to come back.

It's a short walk from the bus stop in Apaneca, and the location was quiet. We got a very good breakfast, but the damp and poor maintenance would make me hesitate to return. The mattress was comfortable and the linen decent, though the towels were poor. The bathroom had good hot water, but the plumbing had issues. We had booked a “deluxe double” with a balcony and garden view, but were given a room with a blocked window instead. After we complained, they moved us to a spacious family room with a fan, but it was damp and needed ventilation.

The family who runs this place really cares about your comfort and experience, and they're very kind. The rooms are clean and comfy. A great place to stay in Ataco, and be sure to try their coffee. They're real experts who are passionate about it.
