The rooftop terrace has a fantastic view of the volcanos, and it’s a nice spot for a beer or takeout dinner. Inside, there’s a large dining area and sitting room, plus a kitchen with high-end appliances, including a refrigerator and rangetop. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Watch out for tiny ants, though. They’re almost impossible to see until they bite.

Daysi, Olvi, and Alonso treated us like family. They gave great service, suggested tours and restaurants nearby, and arranged an Uber to Santa Ana for us at a reasonable price. We’re so glad we stayed at Casa Mixtepek, and it was great value for the money. The rooms were clean and breezy, with large secure windows, a closet, comfortable bed, and hot shower. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker, blender, filtered water, full stove, dishes, and cutlery. There was a nice dining table, large comfy couches, a smart T.V. with streaming services, and two outdoor seating areas. Thank you so much, Casa Mixtepek!

The patio has a great view, and the staff were kind and helpful. I felt at home here. The rooms were nice, and having drinking water in the kitchen was a plus.

The room was a good deal for the price. There was a fan for warm weather and even a fridge with ice for drinks. The strange part was checkout at 14:00. At 13:15, our bags were already out of the room and the bed linen had been taken off the bed.
