We stayed in the rustic room, which was a fun, unusual experience, and the view added to the atmosphere. The room was a good size, with a large, practical desk that made a nice workspace. The hotel grounds are pleasant and well kept, and it's easy to walk into town for food, coffee, or a look around. Parking was simple, with spaces right out front on a quiet dead-end street. You can hear quite a bit from the lobby because the rustic room doesn't block sound very well. If you go to bed early or sleep lightly, keep that in mind. Hotel Juayúa is a solid, characterful place to stay if location and charm matter more to you than total quiet.

We were two adults and two kids, and the spacious Family Suite worked perfectly. The kids loved having two twin beds. The staff went above and beyond and were incredibly accommodating with all our needs. Breakfast was delicious, and since it was included, it was nice to choose from the menu. We also had dinner there one night, and all the food was delicious. The location was convenient for the activities and sites we wanted to visit, with walkable access to town, easy parking, and quiet nights. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The volcano views were breathtaking, and the rooms were great. Walther took very good care of us. The staff were great too, and they made us breakfast earlier than the posted hours because we left early each morning. The price was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location is great, with an easy walk into the city, which is very nice. We booked their waterfall tour, and the guides were lovely and spoke good English. The people were friendly, though the food was average and the pool could have been cleaner.

For a visit to Juayua, this is a cute, ideal hotel. If you can, book the rustic room. The staff are amazingly friendly, and the rooms have AC and hot water. Their food choices are just right, with local cuisine as well as other options. Breakfast can be served in the cute dining area or brought to your room.
