The staff were very accommodating, and I loved the fried platanos at breakfast. It’s a great place to stay in San Salvador, centrally located near the embassies, malls, and all kinds of attractions.

The rooms are clean, the price is good, and the staff are friendly. Parking is limited, but manageable.

Someone tried to get into my room at night as people were leaving the bar, and there’s no security inside. The room also had electrical problems. Breakfast was very basic, and the barking police dogs nearby made it hard to sleep, even though the area itself is nice. My reservation was for one person, but when they saw my wife leaving, they raised the price without telling us beforehand. I’d booked online, and that charge wasn’t specified. Sorry, but I won’t be back.
