The views were amazing, and the staff made the whole wedding experience incredible. Hazel, our coordinator, paid close attention and made sure all our expectations were met. Everything was breathtaking. My kids will always remember and treasure the day. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was.

We had a lovely time at Los Farollenes. A couple of things to know: the road in is bumpy, so be ready for that. Two towels had small stains, but staff replaced them quickly. I speak Spanish as well as English, which is my first language. If you only speak English, I’d download a translator app like Google Translate to make things easier. We stayed in the Oceana room, with a king bed, ocean views, mini fridge, AC, private balcony, and a “jacuzzi.” They’re changing the name because it’s more of a soaking tub with jets. The heaters were removed because the water is naturally warm. Roberto explained the issue really well and was very accommodating. He even offered to put the heaters back if we wanted, but we declined since it made sense not to get into hot water when it was already 30° outside and we both had sunburns. He spoke perfect English and Spanish, apologized for the misunderstanding, and explained that they planned to update the description. We’ll remember his service when we return. The pool was beautiful, and staff kept it maintained whenever guests weren’t using it. There are trees all around, so leaves did sometimes fall in. We also had a full back, neck, and arm massage, which we loved. The masseuse took her time working out every knot and making it relaxing. I’d recommend the splurge, it set a great tone for the rest of the day. For dinner we ordered the meat and fish platter, cooked perfectly and full of fresh, tasty food. Miguel served us both at dinner and later by the pool for drinks. His service was impeccable, and it was a plus that he spoke Spanish and English. My favorite drink was the Bahama Mama, especially if you like sweet cocktails. Breakfast had Salvadoran and American options, both delicious and full of flavors from El Salvador and North America. We’d happily recommend Los Farallones to locals and visitors alike. The views, rooms, service, and atmosphere added a lot to our trip.

Wilfredo served us for most of our three nights, and he was kind, helpful, and attentive. The service was incredible. The resort and garden were beautiful, with a great view of the ocean, and our room was spacious and clean. There’s no hot water, but that was fine since it was so HOT. You can’t really walk to places from here, though an Uber was cheap, from $2 to $8 depending on the distance. My Fiancé and I loved our stay.

From February 6-13, 2026, we stayed at Los Farallones during our visit to El Salvador, and it was a wonderful experience. The ocean views are spectacular, and the gardens are beautiful. The place has a charming look, almost like Santorini. The team made us feel welcome and looked after throughout the visit. We especially want to thank our housekeeper, Noemy Ceteno, for her lovely work and kind nature. The waiters and the rest of the staff were all friendly and attentive. We highly recommend Los Farallones for a relaxing stay by the ocean and warm hospitality.

The view really is beautiful, and there were some lovely staff: the massage therapist, attentive and responsive front desk team, kind and helpful security, and very friendly restaurant servers. Breakfast was delicious too. Still, the beach access was closed throughout our stay, so we couldn't visit the caves shown so prominently in the hotel's photos and videos. We booked the TORTUGA Suite and PELICANO Suite, but due to a mistake by hotel staff or in their system, we were given the ESTRELLA and MANTARRAYA Ocean View rooms instead. We were told they had exactly the same layout, features, and price, but that wasn't true. We chose this hotel specifically for the terrace with several chairs and beds where we planned to enjoy the sunset, and we couldn't do that. We had proof the error was the hotel's, yet they offered no adequate fix or compensation. The stay was good in some ways, but this mistake was never properly resolved and spoiled the experience we expected.
