Barceló San Salvador

I felt very safe on my solo trip. The area is walkable, there’s a mall across the street, and free parking is available around the corner from the entrance near the Stricker bar. The morning pupusas were a nice bonus, and I’d stay here again. I paid for the premium package and enjoyed the lounge, where Alejandro and Adrianna were a pleasure to be around. They were so pleasant and attentive, and made me feel special. Please give them a raise! Leo helped at check-in, brought my luggage up, and explained everything, even the view from my window.

My husband and I spent six days in El Salvador for the first time. The desk staff were really friendly, and the rest of the stay was good. The main problem was breakfast service. I’d paid for breakfast all week, but the servers would bring coffee and then not come back to check on us. That happened three days in a row, so we chose to eat out. Laundry was another issue: I paid for the service, but didn’t get our clothes back until almost the third day. I hope they improve.

I stopped by Barceló San Salvador for a day-use visit. The setting felt safe and professional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They helped promptly and treated guests warmly. The lobby and shared areas looked clean, modern, and attractive. I ordered coffee and dessert, and both were nicely presented and tasted good. The only thing I’d improve is the restaurant wait during busy periods. It was a comfortable, enjoyable visit.

We loved the spotless rooms and the inviting feel of the hotel. The decorative art throughout added a lot of charm, and we wanted to spend time relaxing in the lounge areas. The staff were kind and professional, and the bellmen, especially Andrew, were welcoming, helpful, and full of useful information. I really couldn’t have asked for more from them.
