Construction was heavy the whole three nights we were there, with workers constantly disturbing us. We had no hot water for two days and the water was shut off for two days. On top of all that, the front desk charged my card for every room before checkout, treating my whole family like we were crooks or worse. One of the most insulting experiences of my life. The worst hotel experience I’ve had, and by miles the worst Best Western on the planet.

The hotel is conveniently close to everything in San Salvador, and the facility was very clean. The staff and service were the highlight of my vacation. Ana, Roberto, Mario, and everyone else at the hotel were friendly, courteous, and professional.

They were remodeling while I was there. The rooms were nice, the service was good, and breakfast was free. The location is excellent.

The beds were extremely firm and a bit uncomfortable, and live music from the restaurant next door was loud on Friday and Saturday nights. It usually ended by 10, except on special occasions. We were there for valentines day and it went until 11:30. Still, I’d definitely recommend the hotel. It’s in a great location, with clean rooms, quite good breakfast, a nice pool and landscaping, places to eat nearby, and a few big malls.

We made a serious mistake being out alone during the state of emergency, and around 2 a.m. we ended up in danger. The staff at Best Western saw what was happening and helped us right away. They took the person's license and license plate details, kept us safe, and made sure he couldn't come back into the building. I don't know how to thank the staff and security team enough. They didn't have to let us in at that hour, but they did, and I believe they may have saved our lives. My daughter and I were there in April 2022, and everyone treated us wonderfully. The area felt very safe and had plenty of restaurants nearby. The mattress was hard, and the place could use an update, but it was still amazing. Thank you so much.
