The music at the poolside bar started blaring at 6:30am, after we'd checked in late the night before. There was just one staff member there, apparently entertaining himself. Around 8-9am I finally couldn't take it and went to turn it down. Fifteen minutes later, someone from the restaurant put it back on loud, so I firmly asked him to lower it because my girlfriend was still asleep. Our flight wasn't until the evening, and it was our last, only day in San Salvador after staying in Santa Ana. This hotel totally ruined my stay here. When I complained at reception about the music at 6:30am, the response was just “ok”.

San Benito felt peaceful enough that we could go out late to a club and come and go like it was home. Clubs, lounges, karaoke, and the casino (Bunker) are all within walking distance. San Benito Suites & Apartments isn't new, but it was a comfortable stay. There's a secure parking lot for guests and visitors, and staying here lets you use the pool and gymnasium. The child care area is on the hotel's top floor, so you can enjoy the pool or gym. The house staff were kind and attentive. Xiomara was our host when we arrived to get the keys, a very cool lady.

Rene was always kind and helpful. The location feels very safe, and the quiet, spacious community has everything you need to feel at home. I'll come back for sure and recommend it to friends traveling to El Salvador.
