There’s a nice mall nearby, and the villa itself was clean and quiet. You do need taxis to reach the centre, but they only cost a few dollars, so the peace and quiet felt worth it.

The location was handy, close to the mall and restaurants, but I wouldn’t stay here again. We rented what was listed as a standard apartment and got just a room. The photos gave a misleading impression: the kitchen and dining room are shared, not part of the unit. The walls are paper thin too. I felt scammed into thinking we were renting an actual apartment.

If you need a perfectly quiet place, you might want to stay elsewhere. The neighborhood noise didn’t bother me, but barking dogs or roosters sometimes make noise, and that seems to bother some people. The hotel is at the end of a short dead-end street, with a gate across it that was propped halfway open when I visited. It’s a nice little hotel with helpful, friendly staff. Everything matched the listing, and I thought it was good value for the price. The breakfast menu is simple, but very delicious! If you’re an experienced global traveler, it’s a great little hotel. I’d certainly stay again.
