The location worked well for us. La Gran Vía, Cascadas, and Multiplaza malls were about a 10-minute Uber ride away, Super Selectos was around 6 minutes away, and Centro Histórico took 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby. This is a small, family-run hotel with a gym and courtyard pool. We didn’t use either, and the pool area could use an update. The online photos don’t quite show how it looks now. We stayed six nights as a family of three, two adults and our toddler. We’d traveled from Canada and are originally from El Salvador, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but booking here turned out to be a great decision. We’d happily stay again. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the sheets and towels were soft and fluffy, and the whole stay was pleasant. We’d booked a double room, but the kind woman at reception upgraded us when we arrived to a bigger room with three beds, a sink, microwave, and fridge. That was a huge help with a child under four, and we were grateful. Room #12 was on the first floor. It was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with AC and hot water. The older male caretaker was friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was included and delicious. Each morning we could choose between a traditional Salvadoran plate with scrambled eggs, casamiento, plátanos, sour cream, and a small bun, or two good-sized pancakes.

The property looks beautiful and feels comfortable, but we had a frightening stay because there was no help available at night. After the staff left, there was no concierge or security, and we couldn’t get in or out if an emergency came up. My mother urgently needed medication, and I spent three hours trying to reach someone. We called their phones, rang the doorbell, and even pointed at the security cameras. Nobody responded. With the place locked down like that, it felt more like a prison than a relaxing hotel. If a more serious emergency had happened, we’d have been in real trouble. This level of negligence is unacceptable. Until they fix this, I’d strongly advise against staying here if you care about your safety and well-being. I WON’T STAY AGAIN. I’d rather choose a three-star hotel with excellent service than a beautiful PRISON.

The staff were very helpful, and customer service was a 10/10. They paid attention to our reservation and needs, offered room service, and could move you to a better room if one was available. Our host was about six months pregnant and very helpful. Finding the hotel wasn’t easy. It’s tucked away on a one-way street up a hill in Antiguo Cuscatlán. Parking is small, with a steep, narrow gated entrance, and maneuvering a long-bed or dual-cab pickup in there is very difficult. It’s a small hotel with amenities including a little pool, especially for kids, a small gym, and breakfast every morning.

The included breakfast was good, and the beds were very comfortable. Still, the price feels too high for what’s offered. The service was poor and they seemed understaffed. Rooms are small, and noise carried in from the hallways, staff, other guests, and the pipes.

The staff were great, and when I forgot my ID they didn’t need it at the time. My room had a kitchenette, which I hadn’t expected, as well as a bed. The amenities weren’t especially close, but I managed the walk there and back in about half an hour.
