The Atrium Beach Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort

The views are spectacular, and the beach is right out back. It's also close to restaurants, shops, and plenty of other things. We liked the two pools, comfortable rooms, and especially the really nice, accommodating staff. Looking forward to our annual trip!

Our one-bedroom suite had an ocean-view balcony with a table, chairs, and loungers, and the service was friendly and very good. Inside, everything was clean and nicely provisioned, including a full kitchen with plates, glasses, pots, and pans. They even left coffee for the first day. There isn't a restaurant on site or room service, but several nice bars and restaurants are only a two-minute walk away. I'd definitely return and recommend the hotel as long as you're not counting on room service.

We had a great meal and drinks at the restaurant on the property. The hotel is in a good spot too, with restaurants, bars, and grocery stores all within walking distance. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We'd stay here again, though the noise is a real drawback. Across the street, the grocery market's huge AC units roar constantly, almost like a jet taking off. It's often hard to talk on the balcony. We like leaving the doors open at both ends of the unit during the day to catch the sea breeze, but at night we have to close them to sleep. With the doors shut and AC on, the apartment is quite quiet. If it weren't so convenient, I'd give the location a 1 because of that noise. As it is, it's a 5 for being right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is comfortable, with a great kitchen and a very large balcony set up with a big dining table. The internet was agonizingly slow, around 3.5 mbps download and 0.5 mbps upload. I work remotely, so I managed, but it felt like going back 20 years. If I were deaf, this would be five stars.
