Damascus International Airport

There wasn't too much crowd, but the markets are a bit expensive for what they provide. Only one airline, Cham airlines, was operating there. The airport is very old, with basic services that look like a nineteens airport. Moving between sections means you need to bribe. The ongoing war explains a bit about the airport.

The process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were courteous and professional. I hope the infrastructure keeps improving in the coming years.

I wish I could get out of here 😂😂😂. The services are very bad and the infrastructure is dilapidated. It's the worst airport on the planet, even on Mars, you won't find worse. I hope they develop it and train workers to behave well.

Some people call this the worst airport on the planet, but clearly they haven't been anywhere in their lives. To those saying it's unsafe, just stay home, nobody is forcing you to go anywhere, and we don't want you here anyway. Considering the war, the airport is amazing, clean, and organized. Unfortunately, not all airlines operate there.
