This was my third stay at Queen Center, but the room was a bad experience this time. It was very hot even though it was winter, and nothing I tried with the AC, turning it off or setting it to cool, brought the temperature down. The people in the next room also played music so loudly at night that I thought they were having a party. On top of that, the bed sheets gave me allergies and itching all over every night.
Compared with other hotels in the city, I’d rate this five stars. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the prices are reasonable. Some rooms need small repairs, but the staff were very nice and helpful about fixing the problems, even replacing a broken microwave. The location is good, with the 'mall' right across the street, though you’ll need a 10-15 minute drive to reach the city’s bazzars and attractions. One of the best options in the city.
We had a nice week here in January. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms had a good layout, with plenty of space, a small kitchen, and a dressing room. They were clean, too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The weak Wi-Fi and slow internet were the only problem.
Service was excellent, and I liked finding tea and coffee already in the kitchen. They changed the towels daily. I’d like to see more attention paid to the electrical outlets, though. Everyone has at least two mobiles these days, so it’d be handy to have outlets next to the bed.
