They even washed my car without me knowing, and changed the menu to suit my dietary requirements. The food is all home made and organic. The service is flawless. They should open a branch in Johannesburg. Well done, keep up the great service.

It's family run and very hospitable, with the colonial feel kept just right. We had a superb dinner and breakfast.

The owner was really nice, and the waitresses worked hard. The food tasted great, though the portions were small, so I ate more salade than ever. The WiFi was really good, but the electric sockets were across the room. It's an old place in the middle of nowhere, with creaking floors and beds that made noise even when I was just breathing. Everything felt really “English” old, and the floor was sticky enough that our shoes got sticky too. There were lots of insects, so we kept the windows shut, but there was no fly net over the bed and I ended up covered in mosquito bites. The room had no AC, just a propeller ventilator. At least it was something, but the air was moist, and a good AC could clear out most of that moisture.

Remote and quiet, though hard to get to, but worth the trip. The rooms were wonderful, the staff lovely and the food great. The shared spaces and dining room had a lovely atmosphere. It felt like an old school vacation hotel, such a treat.
