A super king-sized bed that's so comfortable you'll be tempted to lie in, but the weather, beach, diving and whale watching make that a hard choice. The unit is fully functional and self-sufficient, well-priced in pounds or dollars, with a private en-suite, free Wi-Fi and great air conditioning. It sits around a small central pool, and Chef Jorika gave us a lovely welcome at Sunflower Oasis. About the food: you might only manage a few days before waddling out. You can taste the love Chef Jorika puts into it. Great meals, good company, and a fully stocked bar too. I'll definitely be back.

Marc and Patsy, who were staying at nearby Drift Villa, suggested we come here for dinner. The setting was wonderful, and we had an excellent meal: blackened fish fillets with roasted vegetables, then carrot cake. Jorika cooked beautifully, and her friendly, funny manner made the evening even nicer. A local gem for both the food and atmosphere. We'd gladly return.

Jorika's cooking at the onsite restaurant was a great bonus. The rooms were spacious and clean, with strong air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and it's an easy golf cart ride to other restaurants around the island. We also liked being able to walk to the beach. A good low-key place to stay near the water, and I'd recommend it.

Jorika is the best cook on Grand Turk, in my opinion, so having her food right there at "Jorika's Moment" is a big plus. Sunflower Oasis has comfortable rooms, a welcoming pool in the middle with a small bar alongside it, and the attached restaurant. It's a handy base between Pillory Beach to the north, one of the best beaches in TCI, and the TCI Museum to the south. Being far enough north means many cruise ship crowds don't make it up here. Wi-Fi, A/C and a great price too. It really is an oasis.

We ate here twice and both times the food and atmosphere were wonderful. It's relaxed, the staff are lovely, and Jorika is a welcoming host. The best value on the island, plus she's open on weekends when so many other places are closed.
